Description: The decorative, clump-forming palm has golden, cane-like stems and green arching fronds. In cooler climates grow indoors in containers, or outdoors in a sheltered position protected from frost and hot winds. Cold sensitive when yang. In warmer climates grow outdoors in a sunny position in rich, well drained soil, or in tubs for patios. Keep moist but not wet.

Chrysalidocarpus lutescens require some special conditions and is unlikely to thrive without them.
