Description: Asplenium nidus is a superb fern for indoors or that shaded patio or garden area. This tropical native is fast-growing and will live for many years with good care. This unique fern grows in the form of a deep rosette of large, shiny, spear-shaped fronds. New fronds unfurl from the center of the plant.
It's normal for the oldest, outer fronds to turn brown. When this happens, cut them off at the base.
Asplenium nidus require some special conditions and is unlikely to thrive without them.
